Alpine Skiing – Women’s Downhill (Final)

The women’s downhill final opened the day with a high-speed and demanding race. On a long and technical course, athletes had to deal with steep sections, compressions and flat gliding parts where speed management was crucial.
From the very top, skiers set an aggressive pace, knowing that any mistake would be costly. Line choice, precision and confidence played a key role throughout the run, with tension building as each competitor crossed the finish line.

Figure Skating – Team Event (Final) & Ladies’ Singles

The team event final highlighted the depth and consistency of the competing nations. Every performance mattered in a competition where collective strength was just as important as individual excellence.
Later, the ladies’ singles final took center stage. Skaters delivered programs combining technical difficulty and artistic expression. Jumps, spins and choreography followed one another in a highly competitive and emotionally charged atmosphere, as judges carefully evaluated every element.

Ice Hockey – Women’s Tournament (Preliminary Round)

France vs Sweden
The matchup between France and Sweden was played at a high intensity from the opening faceoff. Sweden relied on structured play and speed, while France focused on defensive discipline and physical commitment. The game was shaped by quick transitions and strong battles along the boards.

Czech Republic vs Finland
Czech Republic and Finland faced off in a tightly contested game. Finland moved the puck efficiently, while the Czech team opted for a more direct approach. Chances were created at both ends in a balanced contest typical of the preliminary stage.

Snowboarding – Women’s Big Air (Qualifications – Runs 1, 2 and 3)

The women’s Big Air qualifications delivered an impressive show, with three runs giving riders the opportunity to express their creativity.
In the first run, some competitors played it safe to secure a solid base score. The second run saw an increase in technical difficulty, with more complex rotations. The final run often proved decisive, as riders pushed their limits to improve their standing and earn a spot in the final.
